Hi, there! My name is Kristina Aboagye and I have a passion for teaching! After seven years in the classroom, I recently decided to step away to pursue tutoring. I’ve taught second grade and third grade, and have experience with kindergarten, first grade, and fifth grade from my student teaching days. While in college, I also provided math tutoring for my peers.

What subjects/topics do you tutor in?: I will be focusing on tutoring for strictly math right now starting with the basics and going up through Algebra 1 and Algebra 2.

Have you completed a background check? Yes, the educator certification process includes a background check. As long as the certificate says, “valid,” the teacher is in good standing.

What is your why?: The look on a child’s face when something finally “clicks” is priceless. To watch my students grow and develop academically while also increasing confidence in themselves is such a blessing! Additionally, I absolutely love math - I was originally an accounting major in college, and received a perfect score on my College Algebra final exam. I’m excited for the opportunity to help your child develop his/her math skills!
